Wheako is an online Māori language learning programme that has been designed for beginners who would like to learn Māori as a dedicated subject in their own time, but do not have consistent access to a qualified, experienced and/or knowledgeable teacher regarding second language acquisition.

We have designed the programme so that you can use the language in the home, at school, with whanau and at your workplace and anywhere around the world.

The developer of Wheako Ltd has spent many years in the teaching profession and has created this programme for anyone who wants to learn Te Reo Māori.
